PRECISION SUPPLY EXPANDS OFFICE

After experiencing a recent surge in business, Precision Supply has remodeled and expanded its office settings, doubling the number of desks and opening positions in almost every department. In December of 2007, Precision Supply acquired an account that would enable the company to continue its expansion across the United States and into Mexico and Canada. “We are very excited about all of our new business,” said company President, Bob Koch. “This expansion was necessary and we believe will set the foundation for future growth as well.”

Beginning as a cutting tools and abrasives distributor in 1974, Precision Supply has grown to be one of the largest Integrated Suppliers in the market offering everything from cutting tools and abrasives to janitorial and safety supplies. Along with their large product/market breadth offering, Precision Supply has continued to build upon their integrated services in inventory management, product sourcing and procurement, and technical innovation. Their hardware and software solutions are unmatched by any other distributor.

With this recent expansion Precision Supply sets the table not only for more growth and new business, but also for new entities and features for existing customers. Within the next month Precision Supply will release a new online catalog, making placing orders more convenient and easier than ever before. “Our business is headed in the right direction,” said Koch. “I know our customers will reap the benefits of these changes and I am glad that we are in a position to be able to do that for them.”

The office expansion and hiring of additional staff is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.

PRECISION SUPPLY INTRODUCES AUTOMATED ORDER ENTRY

As of June 1st, 2008, all orders submitted to Precision Supply through the Cribmaster Inventory Management Software are now completely automated. In an effort to reduce the margin of error when entering orders, Precision Supply has synchronized Cribmaster, the inventory management software provided to its customers, with its own business system. There is no longer a need for the middle man thus eliminating the potential for order error or duplication.

Customers whose orders replicate through Cribmaster will benefit greatly from this new arrangement. “It’s one less thing for them to have to worry about,” said Operations Manager, Doug Pearce. “This change has streamlined our processes making them more efficient.”

When an order is created and submitted through Cribmaster, the information is automatically sent to the Precision Supply business system allowing customer service to begin working on a quote immediately. This means faster turn around time for order and delivery.

This process was thoroughly tested before its implementation and has proven to be very beneficial for all customers using the Cribmaster software.
